The History of Burt's Diesel
Burt’s Diesel Service, Inc. was proudly established in 1997 by Burton Linke with a simple vision: provide dependable diesel repair backed by honesty, craftsmanship, and relationships that last a lifetime. What began as a trusted local service grew through reputation, not advertising. Built one repair, one handshake, and one satisfied customer at a time.
In 2016, that legacy continued when long-time employee Allan Huss purchased Burt’s Diesel Service, Inc. After years of working alongside Burton and learning the trade from the inside out, Allan carried forward the same values while expanding the company’s capabilities, technology, and service reach, without ever losing the small-business commitment customers rely on.
Today, we remain a family-owned, fast-paced, full-service mobile diesel repair business specializing in Marine, Agricultural, and Industrial diesel engines. We proudly serve customers throughout the Great Lakes region and beyond, traveling both locally and long-distance wherever reliable service is needed.
